Hockaday Orchards is located about 5 miles south of Lakeside, off of Hwy 93. We are tucked down on Flathead Lake, on Angel Point. To get to our cherry orchard Here are the directions:
Coming North from Polson:
Drive north on Hwy 93. About 1 mile from Lakeside, you will see the road to Angel Point to your right. It is a quick turn, so be watching for the sign. We are just about a mile north of the Deep Bay Conference center and the turn is just a couple of hundred yards past mile marker 96.
Coming south from Kalispell:
Go south through Lakeside on Hwy 93, past the Lakeside Club and you will see the on the left side of the road a sign for Angel Point. Turn off the highway, at this point.
Once you’ve turned off the highway and are on Angel Point, go down the little hill and make a right onto Angel Point Road.
We generally have a sign right there pointing the direction. You will follow this road about another 2 miles in. At that point, you will go down a long, steep hill and there will be a brown garage/house at the top. The road at the base of the hill will curve sharply to the left and there is a big yellow sign with an arrow pointing left. Straight ahead will be a dirt road with signs that say: Woodyard Road and Hockaday Lane. Do NOT make the left turn, but continue straight onto this dirt road. You will pass 3 trailer houses and go over a couple of speed bumps. The road will diverge again, stay to the left. Continue on the road. You will break over the crest of a little hill where you will be able to see the lake and at that point you will see people who will greet you and tell you where to park.
